Earth- Disney Documentary

Introduction

Earth is a Disney documentary directed by Alastair Fothergill and Mark Linfield and produced by Alix Tidmarsh and Sophokles on 2007, also it was the first film released under the Disney nature label.
It presents us different kinds of wild habitats and species around the world that provide the viewer another perspective of the ecosystems that exist in our planet. This film focuses on three particular species, the polar bear, African bush elephant and humpback whale.

Summary

1. Artic
The movie starts in the Artic when the winter has finished and the sun begins to appear, we can see a polar bear with her cubs that are trying to get food on the sea ice before it begins to break up.

During the summer the sun never sets reason why the sea ice melt completely when august comes near. The polar bear and her cubs have to go mainland to be safe before it happens.

2. Africa

In Africa everything is different. The animals always try to walk in herds to protect themselves from predators that are constantly searching for prey. The dominant species of this ecosystem is the lion, these are some characteristics about it:
Lions are the only cats that live in groups, which are called prides. Prides are family units that many include up to three males, a dozen or so females, and their young. Young males eventually leave and establish their own prides by taking over a group headed by another male.
